Thaw in the refrigerator. Due to their thickness, they take a little longer than regular ćevapi: 10 to 12 minutes over medium heat, turning regularly. Check that they are cooked through before serving.
Serveertip
Slice the lepinja open, spread kajmak on the warm inside, put the ćevapi in, and top with plenty of raw red onion. Serve with ajvar on the side.
Bewaren
Keep frozen at -18 °C. Once defrosted, keep refrigerated and consume within 24 hours. Do not refreeze.
