Preheat the oven to 200 °C. Place the burek on baking paper and bake for approximately 25 to 35 minutes until the pastry is golden brown and crispy. There is no need to defrost; optionally brush lightly with oil for extra shine.

Just like they do in the Balkans: with a glass of cold yogurt or ayran on the side. That’s not a side dish; that’s part of the meal.

Keep frozen at -18 °C. Do not thaw before cooking. Do not refreeze.
