Rinse the cheese briefly if you want it less salty, or let it soak in cold water for half an hour. Then cut into cubes or crumble.
Serveertip
At breakfast with fresh bread, tomato, and olive oil. Crumbled over sirnica or pita. Or on a meze platter next to suho meso and kajmak — the saltiness of the cheese and the smokiness of the meat belong together.

Keep refrigerated, in its own brine. That way it stays fresh the longest.
